I'm looking for some good books to read before and after bypass surgery. Any recommendations?

There are quite a few books out there about Weight Loss Surgery. I occassionally walk through my local Book Store and check them out. I was surprised when I saw that there is actually "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" and it does have some good tips in it.
I have purchased a few Cookbooks for post weight loss surgery and they do have some great hints and recipes that have helped me to be a healthier cook.
Amazon.com is a great source for finding these books as well.
Personally I believe human interaction with others who have already had Weight Loss Surgery or are living through it at same time is the best info you can get. This is why I encourage people to attend Support Groups.
No one is perfect ... but in a support group.. I find people are very honest and will tell you what has and has not worked for them. We find this is a group that you can share your issues with and not be "JUDGED" for it. People tend to be very honest and many people do like helping others in their journey. Attendence is these groups are free and are a great way to "Keep Focused!"

I myself have been a google fanatic. I'm one of these people who needs to overload myself with information when I'm making a huge decision on something (sometimes this works against me).
I do agree with Pat in that human contact is best as you can really get a better answer from someone face to face, things in email or blogs can be misinterpreted sometimes as well.
